Please read the following points carefully. Information must be true and given in English. The application runs through the official immigration portal; VietEvisa reviews your details and submits them on your behalf. Official fee 25 USD (single) or 50 USD (multiple) to the state, service fee 25 USD to VietEvisa for review, submission and delivery. Processing time according to the authority is usually 3 to 5 working days.

Applicants must provide all information sufficiently, correctly and honestly in English.

Refusal for false information
The e-Visa application will be refused if Vietnamese immigration finds incorrect or dishonest information.

From abroad only
The visa is issued to foreigners who are currently abroad and wish to enter Vietnam. Not for people already staying temporarily in Vietnam.

Exceptions without an e-Visa application
Foreigners under paragraphs 1 to 4 of Article 8 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam do not apply for an e-Visa through this process. They must go through inviting or sponsoring organizations and submit a written visa application to the competent unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This includes, among others, members of state and party delegations, diplomatic and consular missions and related groups.
- Members of delegations of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the President, the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister.
- Members of delegations of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee, the Vice President, the Vice President of the National Assembly, the Deputy Prime Minister and other equivalent office and party levels (including ministers, provincial party secretaries, chairs of people’s councils and people’s committees).
- Members of diplomatic missions, consular posts, UN and intergovernmental representations, as well as spouses, children aged 18 or over and accompanying domestic staff for a limited time.
- People who work at such missions or visit their members.
