What does the Vietnam e-Visa cost officially?
The official government fee is currently 25 USD for single entry and 50 USD for multiple entry. You pay this fee on the state portal https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn. VietEvisa charges a separate service fee of 25 USD for optional assistance.
What does the VietEvisa assistance service cost?
At VietEvisa you pay a transparent service fee of 25 USD per application for data review, submission assistance and email delivery. The government fee (25/50 USD) is shown separately and paid on the official portal.
Are there hidden costs or subscriptions?
No. The amount shown at checkout is the final price for our assistance service. There is no subscription. The government fee is additional and collected on the official portal.

What documents do I need for the e-Visa?
Typically: passport (6 months validity recommended), digital portrait photo, scan of passport bio page, travel dates, selected entry gate and email address. All details must match your passport exactly.
How long does processing take?
Processing usually takes a few business days but can vary with volume and authority review. Apply well before departure. Current Vietnam Immigration rules apply.
How does the application via VietEvisa work?
You enter passport, travel and contact details in our form. After review we support submission through the official process and email your approval when ready. The service fee is due only when you confirm the order.

How long can I stay in Vietnam with the e-Visa?
The approved e-Visa typically allows a stay of up to 90 days. The exact duration is shown on your approval. Single entry covers one entry; multiple entry covers several entries within validity.
What is the difference between single and multiple entry?
Single entry (25 USD government fee): one entry during validity. Multiple entry (50 USD government fee): several entries within the validity period. Choose the type that fits your trip.

Do I need an e-Visa for Vietnam?
It depends on your nationality and length of stay. Many travellers need a visa or e-Visa; others may be exempt. Check current entry rules for your passport before booking.
Can I enter at any border checkpoint?
No. You may only enter via the gate selected in your application (air, land or sea). Confirm your flight or route matches that gate before submitting.
Is the e-Visa the same as visa on arrival?
No. Visa on arrival (VOA) requires a separate approval letter and different steps at certain airports. The e-Visa is applied for fully online and approved before travel.

Can I apply for the e-Visa free of charge myself?
Yes. At https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn you can apply yourself and pay the official fee (25/50 USD) directly. VietEvisa optionally offers paid assistance for review and submission.
What is included in the assistance service?
Guided application, plausibility check of passport and travel data, submission support, email delivery of the approval and support for follow-up questions. No guarantee of approval or entry.
Do I also need a pre-arrival declaration?
Vietnam may require a pre-arrival declaration in addition to the e-Visa. Check https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn and current Immigration guidance before departure. VietEvisa does not replace mandatory government reporting.
